Not to mention theres a clicking sound in the engine when revved you can hear a noise like a something striking together anyone have a clue whats going on with my car

Answer
Jake: You are timing the car, well have your checked the timing belt to see what kind of shape it is in? Have you ever changed that belt? This is from my repair manual on no power, some ideas for you, ignition incorrect timing, excessive play in distribuor shift, worn rotor, distributor cap or wires, low or uneven cylinder compression pressures, vacuum leaks. But the sounds you are hearing from the engine is a valve sticking. Here are the reason one would rehaul the engine on your car, loss of power, rough running, knocking, metallic engine noises, excessive valve noises, high fuel consumption rates. You did not put down the miles on this car but a 1991 has to have high miles. I think I would check the timing belt and see if it has stayed on it's marks or needs to be replaced. And then maybe try some engine reconitioner to see if you can quiet that valve that is tapping. And go from there. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
