Mitsubishi Repair: instrument cluster change, mitsubishi lancer, instrument cluster

Question
I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Lancer, CC model, Automatic Transmission (3 speed), Hatchback (5 door). It currently has an instrument cluster with 3 gauges: A Speedometer, Fuel & Temperature. If I changed the instrument cluster from another Lancer that also has a Tacometer gauge on it, would it operate properly ? Regards, Chris

Chris: You will need to buy yourself a repair manual with a wiring dragram in it to help you hook everything up right. But I think that would work just fine. Most parts stores sell these repair manuals for your car and they cost around $20.00. Try to get a Haynes as they have better wiring dragrams. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
