Question
My back Active Aero wing stoped working but I have no warning light going off on the dash I checked the fuse under the hood what else could it be?  My ac broke to and the dealer said it will cost $2112 for labor, compressor, clutch and something else isnt that kind of high?

Thanks

Answer
Wally: I would check around on that ac work, that sounds high to me. Surely you could get some used parts and not go all new. Ouch. But could you please explain a bit more, what the car was doing before it stopped working? I mean did it just stop working? Do you run the car down to empty before filling it up with fuel? A lot of people are doing that now with this high cost of fuel. And we have been replacing a lot of fuel pumps. As the fuel is what keeps the pumps cool, so you should only let your tank go down to 1/4 tank. Does the car try to start or it there nothing? When it the last time you did a tune up on the car? You could try to move the distributor one way or the other to see if the car will start then. As there is a crank sensor in the distributor. If then the car starts by turning the distributor, then you need a new distributor. But if your car is cranking but not starting it could be the fuel pump went out. They can go out like a light bulb one minute they work and the next they go out. So let me know just what the car was doing before it stop starting. Check around about that work for your ac too. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
