Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 Mitsu. Galant SRS Indicator light, mitsubishi galant, squealing brakes

I took my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant to the shop today so they could fix my squealing brakes and my "dimmer switch". After I picked my car up from the shop I noticed the SRS indicator light was on and my car now idles very low when I'm at a complete stop AND when the car is parked and running. It also went dead twice while I was parked in my driveway. I have no experience with automotive repair, so I'm completely stumped. What would cause my car to idle so low? Did my mechanic cause serious problems?

Bobby: You took the car in to a shop and had something fixed on it. The car ran fine before it went into the shop but will not ran or idle very good. Take it back to the shop and raise hell with them. They are the ones that worked on the car last, they must have been messing with things they shouldn't have been doing. Tell them about that light and make them fix all this. Well maybe you should start out telling them about all this and then raise hell if they say that is not their problem. I get so tired of these shops that fix something on a car; take it for a drive and decided they need to fix something else. Only they don't. Take it back to whoever worked on it and get them to fix whatever they broke. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
