Mitsubishi Repair: Car wont upshift, cam engine, transmission shop

Hello I was wondering if you could help?  I have a 1999 3000gt 3.0 single overhead cam engine with an automatic trans with overdrive.  It shifts to park, reverse fine but in drive it won't Up shift to next gear.  Also I shift to 2nd and low and nothing happens.  Overdrive isn't working either.   Any ideas?

You may just need your shifter linkage adjusted.  But it would be best to have a transmission shop inspect the transmission for electrical problems as well.  Sometimes the switch that controls the overdrive fails and never allows the car to shift properly.
