Question
its on a 2000 mits eclipse 4 cy. gs i cant seam to find a pick of it and a brief descripition of how to change it

Answer
Gary: The crank shaft sensor is in the distributor cap. Just replace the distributor and you will then have a new crank shaft sensor. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
HEY GARY: GO BUY YOURSELF A REPAIR MANUAL FOR YOUR CAR, MOST PARTS STORES HAVE THEM AND THEN THAT WOULD SHOW YOU WHERE THAT SENSOR IS. IF NOTHING ELSE GO TO THE PARTS STORE AND ORDER THE SENSOR THOUGH THEM. THEY CAN OFTEN GET YOU A PICTURE OF WHERE THAT SENSOR GOES IN YOUR CAR IF YOU ASK THEM FOR THAT. "AS YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE SENSOR LOOKS LIKE AND WHERE IT GOES". HOPE THIS HELPS... OH YES I PULLED THAT WHAT I SENT YOU OUT OF MY HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL. SO EXCUSE ME!
