Mitsubishi Repair: timing belt problem, timing belt, autozone

i have just replaced the timing belt on my 2003 mit galant LS v6 3.0 Litre engine . the problem is that it not runing right, it,s very slow runing they,rs no power at all i can put my foot down to the floor and it just sit there rpm is very slow to come up . i do have an engine light that gives me two trouble codes p0335 and p040. the car ran fine before i replaced the timing belt i did check the timing marks on all of the gears and i don,t understand what whent wrong.

David:Are you sure you got all the marks right? Sometimes it takes me, well up to three times to get those marks. But then your car is not that old, I would find out what those codes are and get those sensors replaced. They might be your problem. I wish I could help with that, but I mostly work on cars 1996 and back. So my code book does not have your year of car in it. But surely you have a repair manual for your car? Or else got an AutoZone close by? They could help you with those codes too. I think it could be those sensors that are out, as the computer has to read all the sensors through out the engine to set up how that car will run. If one or two sensors are out, it messes up the whole thing. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
