when driving there is a screeching sound as I accelerate, I drive an automatic, problem is worse at night, especially when  accelerating from a stop. Any advise would be appreciated

Matthew: I would have your belts checked out, sounds like one is slipping and so your screeching sound. Don't know why it is worse at night, other than maybe the belts are more cooled or something. But check those belts and see if any are loose or need to be replaced. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
