Mitsubishi Repair: Noise from what?, wheel bolts, cv joints

Question
Hello to you Linda :o) I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5 glxi 1991, and I do have a problem. No problems when the car holding still with the engine on, (sound nice) but when I am driving it sound like ignitions/jarring noise from the silencer/rattle, but I have  renewable all parts before and after the catalyst except the first pipe. I have also renewable, - sparks, cable, distributor, but nothing help.
Could you help me out?. Kindly Belinda, Denmark (sorry for my English)

Answer
Belinda: I would have all your motor mounts checked as one might be loose and so the engine is moving just a bit. But also I would have the car's front end check, such a wheel bearings, CV joints inboard and out board ones, make sure all those wheel bolts are tight too. Have your car, all four tires balanced, could be one of the tires or rims is out of round. Could check your springs and shocks too, as one could be broken and so making the noise. It would have to be something that is broken or loose to only make sound when the car is going down the road. So try those ideas and if that does not help you, please write back. As I will check with friends that work on cars to see what their ideas might be. For now I hope this helps you some and good luck! Linda
