Mitsubishi Repair: 1995 Eclsipe, fuel delivery system, exhaust gas recirculation

I was having trouble witht he idleing that so many are syaing on this site. the idler sensor has been replaced My freind has just disconnected soemthing that fed exhust back throught the motor After he did this my tranny is slipping really bad Help

I'm guessing your friend may have disconnected Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.  This may make your engine run poorly, but it shouldn't cause your tranny to slip. Poor idling can be caused by several components if they are not working properly.  You may want to have a mechanic inspect your ignition system, fuel delivery system, and air intake system to see if they can find other troubled components.  I would also recommend having your timing checked to be sure it's set properly.
