Answer
Howard: I work mostly on Eclipses and will write to you what the repair manual says for it. Maybe that will help you, but I will say I think 565 is very steep for that job and I wish these shops would be a bit more fair with their costs. Disconnect neg. cable from battery. The motor has to be up on the firewall, as you open the hood look to the left side of the car and it should be there for your to see. Unplug the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolts. Pull the motor out and use a screwdriver to pry the wiper link from the motor crank. Lift the motor from the engine compartment. Installation is the reverse of removal. I shall check up on line and see if I can find out anything for that year and model of car you have. And get back to you if much different. But today is Good Friday so as I Christian I have some things to do. But I will check into this on Saturday and if different I shall get back to you. But still this would give you some idea how to do these things. I don't believe it would be to much different. As my repair manual is for 1990-1994 Mitsubishi Eclipses. You know a lot of shops don't like working on these imports. I do hope this helps and good luck! Linda :o)
