Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Brake/Fuse, mitsubishi montero sport, mitsubishi montero

I have a 2002 montero sport xls.  All 3 brake lights went out and I replaced the fuse.  They worked for about a month and then blew again.  I replaced the fuse again but as soon as I stepped on the brake pedal the fuse snapped.  I put in two more and the same thing happened.  What is causing this?

Nadine: Need to get your car to a shop, as you have a short someplace. A wire is rubbing on the body, so the power for the brakes light goes there, over loading the system, so you blow a fuse. So you need to get this fixed, replacing the fuse will not help it this time. You will have to get someone to find the short, fix that and then your brake lights will work.
