Mitsubishi Repair: Inner TIe Rod, needle nose pliers, inner tie rod

Question
I'm replacing the inner tie rod end on my 2001 eclipse spyder gt.  How do you remove the boot?

Answer
David,
I've never done this job on a 3rg gen Eclipse, but I would guess it's similar to the older Eclipses.  If you're referring to the dust bellow boot going over the inner tie rod, you should just be able to remove the boot once you detach the inner tie rod from the tie rod end.  You may need needle nose pliers or wire cutters to remove the clamps that are securing the boot.
Good luck!
