QuestionI did the reset after the manifold ckt. replacement.
The light came on again. I reset the light this time
without getting anything done (got the OBD-II meter from
Autozone). SRS light came back on within 2 miles of driving. Dunno if Engine light will come back on too - I have not driven the car since (I am close to breaking down
on this car - this is the 4th time in 3 months that I have
some light come on).

My SRS light came on my 2000 Eclipse, GT. Soon enough Service Engine light came on.
I had the car fixed only 200 miles ago when Engine Light was on with P1400 (Manifold Circuit Malfunction).
What is wrong now? I just want to make it stable so that I can sell the car.Its current mileage is 79000.

Abhishek: Did you ever have the computer reset after you replaced the manifold circuit malfunction? If not then the computer is still thinking there is a problem in the system. Go get the car coded again to make sure some other sensor is not out and then get them to reset your computer. So clear the computer. AutoZone could do that for you. Or someone else with the computer to do that for you. Hope this helps and good luck!
AnswerAbhishek: Oh hang in there. I mean working on a car can causes one to want to pull their hair out at times. I would say if the light is still on, there is some other sensor out someplace. If you reset the computer but the light keeps coming on. Then the computer is still picking up something in the system that is not right. So I guess you need to have the car coded, I mean doing it at AutoZone is free. Other than the time and fuel to get there and back home. But do take it easy, I know working on cars can be a pain at times. You are so sure you have it fixed but no something else goes. I wish I could help you more but try another coding and see what that shows you. Hope this helps some and good luck!
