Mitsubishi Repair: mitsubushi colt, mechanic check, autozone

Question
hi, having trouble with my colt 1.3 gli. its 1994. It will start from cold but then when you turn engine off, it will not start for an hour until cool again. Something is cutting off the supply to the injectors. My mechanic first thought it was the fuel pump, but a new one did not change matters, any ideas?

Answer
Matthew: Hello. Could be you have a relay that is getting hot, so cutting off so that your fuel pump is not getting any fuel. Once it cools down, then it will let you start the car. But then it gets hot again, so you can not start the car. So have your mechanic check that. You should have the car coded, AutoZone will do it for free. Or have your mechanic check it. As you could have a sensor or more maybe even the computer is causing your problems. The computer after all does control everything in your car and it gets its thoughts from all the sensors through out your car. Hope this helps and good luck!
