Mitsubishi Repair: BRAKES!!!, brake shoes, brake job

Question
I have a 1992 Montero, i am pretty sure that my brakes are going out... and i don't have the money right now to get them fixed... but it's the only car i have.  I need to know if how long until my rotors will be ruined if they aren't already... when i am driving i can have my foot down on the pedal completely and i will still roll just a bit. but there is this horrible squilling sound.

Angela: Best find someplace that will let you put some money down and then make payments to pay off your brake job. With the horrible sound that is coming from your brakes, your brake shoes are down to nothing and you are rubbing steel to steel. With time you will kill off your rotor and have to get that either turned or replaced. Got a friend that works on cars, maybe they could do a brake job for you. All you have to do is replace the brake shoes with new ones and all is fixed. I would also check your brake fluid to see if you are low but I think your problem is that you need new brake shoes and soon.
