Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 Lancer Blower Motot, blower motor, battery cable

Question
Hello.  Recently my heater has stopped blowing air.  For awhile, it would work on speed 4, and now it has stopped altogether.  Sometimes it will work on the 4th speed for a few minutes and then slowly die.  Air still gets warm and flows through when driving at high speeds, but otherwise it doesn't work.  I am thinking about buying the part and replacing the blower motor myself.  Is this overly difficult?  Could it be something else?

Answer
Zachary: Hello, sounds like the blower motor to me. It should not be overly difficult but you should go out and buy yourself a repair manual for your car. So that you could understand what it takes to do this. But for the most part, they sit behind the glove box. It is just remembering to unhook the neg. battery cable before starting anything like this, having all the tools needed and a garage to work in. As it will take you some time to get everything done. But the repair manual would help you through that too. Hope this helps and good luck!
