Mitsubishi Repair: 2001 mitsubishi montero brake buzzer, 2001 mitsubishi montero, mitsubishi montero

I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero and the ABS light came on as well as a buzzered.  The manual says top stop vehicle and take to dealer.  What could lead to this problem?

Tyler: You can drive your car without the ABS but you should get it fixed. They would check for leaks or problems with the ABS. It could be anything. You could take the car to a dealer or a shop; have them look it over and then they will let you know what it will take to fix it. Cost, labor and parts. Lead to the problems that to be anything too, don't say how many miles but sometimes miles, wear and just needs to be checked as well as repaired at times. Hope this helps and good luck. PS. You could go see if your car has a recall on the ABS. Don't know though.
