Mitsubishi Repair: MITSUBISHI GALANT, mitsubishi galant, manualy

Question
I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Galant.I tried to time my car manualy, and now it won't start.  I need help on what can I do now?

Answer
Hector: Hello. Take the distributor loose and move it in a circle, then try to start your car, or else move the distributor back some and try. If you get the car started, then put the distributor there and bolt it down.Be sure to put a mark on the distributor and the part it hooks into, so you know where you started. If that does not work, then you might have to get the car to a shop as you have messed up the timing to the point that only someone like that could fix it. When is the last time you did a good tune up on your car? Why did you think the car needed to be timed anyway? You might try to buy a repair manual for your car at a parts store, they cost around $20.00 and are well worth the money. It would be able to help you with things too. Hope this helps and good luck!
