Mitsubishi Repair: colt clutch, clutch cylinder, 3gl

Question
Hi. Have a colt -90 1,3gl that been staying still for one year and the clutch seems to be stuck, is it worth leaving the engine running so it gets warm and then releases?? Or is it better to take it apart.

Answer
Sonny,
If it's really stuck, then there's most likely something wrong and probably shouldn't be driven even if it does come unstuck.  Though this could be a problem with the master clutch cylinder or slave cylinder, so it may not necessary be a faulty clutch.  But if the cylinders and fluid level appear fine, that could indicate a frozen release fork, in which case, you'll want to take it apart.
Good luck!
