Mitsubishi Repair: 1992 galant hesitation?, vacuum leaks, k n air filter

or is it a surge?  While under power, my Galant hesitates and surges...

serviced tranny (new filter), new plugs, wires, distrib/rotor caps, K&N air filter and fuel filter to try to fix the problem.

seems to do the same when hot or cold.  she has 134k on her, but runs like a champ other than this.

Robert: You need to have your fuel pump tested to see if it is putting out enough fuel. I would say that is your problem. Being the car hesitates and surges. Also check your MFI relay too. Could be vacuum leaks,  loose fuel injector wire harness connectors, defective computer or information sensor bad. But buy yourself a repair manual for your car, can buy one at any parts store for around $20.00. Well worth the money, get a Haynes as they have a trouble shooting pages with ideas in what to check.  Hope this helps and good luck!
