Mitsubishi Repair: speedometer, mitsubishi eclipse, s gauge

Hi my name is Eddie and i got a 1995 Mitsubishi eclipse (non turbo). My problem is that the stock speedometer does not work but my RPM's gauge does work.. i would like to hear how can i fix that problem......

Eddie: I would say that the cable has come unhooked or has broken. The RPM's has it's own cable. You need to get yourself a repair manual for your car. You can buy one at any parts store for around $20.00. If you get a Haynes they will walk you through how to fix that. You might want to let a shop do it as it is not an easy job but the manual would show you this and you can decide if you could do it. I hope this helps and good luck!
