Mitsubishi Repair: 1994 galant engie reves, galant, autozone

my question is ...i have a 1994 galant that i love more then anything in the world. but, my engine will rev up and down and it never stops doing this,it did at one time but then it started up again, and has not quit since. it run great but it revs all the time. we have not tried to fix it cause everyone i ask tells me it could be this or that ...can you please help me

Jenny: Got a AutoZone close to you? For free they will code your car, I am thinking you have a sensor going bad or getting weak. If you need that sensor replaced and what the sensor is will be told at this test. You should get yourself a repair manual on your car too, then you can check things out for yourself. Any parts store sells them for around $20.00 and well worth the money. Hope this helps and good luck!
