Mitsubishi Repair: 02 montero headlight, montero, fuses

Question
My drivers side headlight has no lowbeam for some reason. I changed the bulb, checked the fuses...still no luck. the passenger side works fine, and I do have highbeam on drivers side. What else could be the problem if not fuse or bulb? thanks.

Answer
Dan: Look I have not done a lot of work on cars as new as your's. So this is just an idea on my part. But surely your car has a way to set the headlights. To make the beam shorten or go out longer in the road. I am thinking that maybe the driver's side headlight, switch or screw might be turned back so far that you have no light there. You could try checking that. There is one for each headlight to set them. But if you find that screw or switch, find a wall and do this at night to set them. As you go a small bit at a time or else you could be checking the birds out in the trees. I know I have done this a time or two. Hope this helps and good luck!
