Mitsubishi Repair: 95 Galant wont start/leak, pubble, little cars

Question
I have a 95 mitsu Galant and I recently broke down and had to jump start my car. It was late so I brought it back to my place (the lights on the dashboard were dimming in and out as I drove and didnt want to risk breaking down again) and decided to jump start it again in the morning. When I tried that the next morning, it would not start. Lights would come on, air conditioner works, it just will not start. When I turn the key, it turns over but the engine doesn't start. I gave up and today I was walking back from school and noticed a green pubble under my car. I guess it's antifreeze? Any help would be appreciated as to what would be the problem but, then again, I think this car has about had it.

Answer
Mike: Could be a lot of different things. I would check the cables on the battery first off. Sometimes if they are even a bit loose these little cars will not start. You could have blew a fuse someplace, jumping it makes me think your battery is old. When is the last time you did a tune up? Stark plugs, wires, distrbutor and rotor? How old is your starter? You could have a sensor that is weak or bad. Is the check engine light coming on or staying on? How old are your belts? How about your waterpump, it could be leaking water and so needs to be replaced. You don't say the miles but a 1995 I would bet a lot. But if you take care of these cars, they will give you all they have and more. But you say you walked back from school and so I understand students don't have a lot of money. I guess I would do the tune up, check the battery and cables. If that does not fix it, you might have to pull it to a shop and let them see what they think is wrong. You could try to buy a repair manual for your car at any parts store for around $20.00 and check things from that. It could be something easy or it could be something hard. Hope this helps and good luck!
