recently passed her mot but now the parking break light on dash is coming on and wont go out.  Wot could be the problem.

Hi Mark,

The most common reason for that is low brake fluid. You may also want to check the float in the brake fluid reservoir to insure it's not stuck. This can also indicate a need for new brake pads; I'd check those too. If your pads are that worn you shouldn't add any brake fluid as when you change the pads, your calipers will be reset, displacing that fluid back into the reservoir. If that doesn't correct the problem, there's a switch on the parking break assembly inside the console that could be the culprit.
