Mitsubishi Repair: 1990 Galant GSX Radio problem, antenna gain, radio antenna

After replacing the power radio antenna, the ability to aquire good signal from local stations has been terrible. Is there an antenna gain switch located on back of radio and which side?

Scott: Are you sure you got the antenna hooked up right? I know of no switch, there is only a antenna lead. Could be after you didn't get all the wires hooked together. You should buy a manual for your car, it will explain things for you.That is a repair manual can get one at any parts store and for around $20.00. Or take it to a shop. Hope this helps and good luck!
