Mitsubishi Repair: diamonte, starter solenoid, battery cables

my daughters car had problems starting. it would start when you jump it but wont start anymore. what could be the problem

Wendy: sounds like the battery to me, but the starter could be bad too. But also check the battery cables are they in poor shape or loose? Also the starter solenoid could be bad. I keep telling the gals that write in to me, to get a manual on your car. I like Haynes they are easy to understand and you can get them at any parts store. Then you will understand what is going on with your car and if you take it to a shop it is not so easy for that shop to rip you off. Hope this helps and good luck!
