Mitsubishi Repair: Clutch, mitsubishi 3000gt, 3000gt vr4

Question
Had new clutch put in about a year ago.Working good until about a month ago.Sometimes now when I push clutch in, it will go to the floor without NO resistance, then on about the third time it is fine.Does not happen often, but makes me very uneasy. Checked clutch fluid and it is fine. Can you please help?Car is a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. No one likes working on this car after any repair they tell me to never bring it back. Thank you

Answer
Becky: I think maybe you need to have your clutch pedal adjusted is all. There is a lock nut and a push rod, you just need to get that set. It will set the pushrod until the freeplay is correct. I would take it back to where you had the clutch put in and make them fix it again for you. Would there be a Mitsubishi dealership close to you? I would take the car to them, they work on such cars and they know what they are doing. I know I had to start working on my cars because so many shops do not want to work on imports. Get a repair manual on your car, then you will have an idea what I am talking about. You can get one of those at a parts store. I like Haynes because they are easier to understand. Hope this helps and good luck!
