Answer
Tim:Got to say at times working on a car can be a mind blowing and hair pulling thing. I was thinking maybe you have a short someplace and so the stark is going to something else. Have you thought of letting someone else look things over? Sometimes I get to the end of my rope with the thought of pushing the car into a lake someplace; when I let someone else check things out. And they find something I had not seen or over looked. The resetting remark would make me think of the computer. But you said you replaced that. Being an mechanic you surely got the right one for your car. Could the place that you got the computer at gave you the wrong one for your car? Maybe you got a bad relay? What is the weather like when you are trying this, maybe the car does not like wet weather. Had a car like that once, it would not run when it was raining. How about your battery is it up to full charge? Look I am only throwing things out to you. I still think I would have someone else look things over and maybe between the two of you; you might come to the bottom of this. My book says if the relay is defective, that component will not operate properly. Hope this helps and good luck!
