Mitsubishi Repair: 03 Lancer no heat, thermostat, air condition

Question
I have 2003 Lancer OZ. I recently had a air conditioning belt replaced. A few months after I discovered I had no heat, it seems like the air conditioning is running no matter what posistion the heat selector is on. We have checked fuses and thermostat and are unable to resolve, do you have any suggestions.

Answer
You say you had an air condition belt replaced, did you do it yourself or had someone do it? Might just take the car back to whoever put on the belt. Have no idea what else they might have done to the car. Other wise I would again check the thermostat because to me this sounds like a stucked thermostat. The heater set up in the car is full of ducts kind of like the heater set up in our home, in that you can shut off one room or turn the heat on to another room. Well your car is kind of like that, so one of your duct vents could be stuck so all you are getting is cold air. Getting a repair book on your car would be good, you could then check out the way your car is set up. To be honest here, I work mostly on Mitsubishi older than you car. I hope these ideas have helped you. Good luck!
