Mitsubishi Repair: transmission/engine, throttle position sensor, tranny fluid

1997, mit glantt es 2.4.... the proble is first i no i need to replace my throttle position sensor.... i main problem is the shift qualtiy,  in the tranny, from starrt to go it bangs into first gear there after it is fine,  sometimes when i start the car up in the am, and take off right away it shifts fine, sometime it doesnt, i pamper the car changing the filter every 3,000 miles add special addictives, and flushing system, is this a shift problem, i have replaced mount and engine mountts as well. whaat gives here?

If you haven't had your transmission fluid and transmission filter replaced within in last 30,000 miles, you should do so.  Insufficient or dirty tranny fluid can cause transmission problems.  Have that job done first and see if you see better response from your transmission.
