Mitsubishi Repair: my 93 3000GT wont stay running., faulty computer, body assembly

Question
I have a 93 3000GT SL and today as i was pulling into my parking space it just suddenly died on me, no warning. When i start the car it will only stay running as long as i give it gas and as soon as i let my foot off the gas the RPM's quickly drop to 0.

Answer
Daniel,
This can be caused by a malfunctioning throttle body assembly, malfunctioning Idle Speed Controller, clogged air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, clogged catalytic converter, poor ignition timing, or even a faulty computer.  The car's computer should be checked.  Read the article for further information:

If the ECU is failing, these types of stalling problems can occur.  It's a good idea to have it inspected.  As you can see, there are a number of items that can cause your stalling problems.  It's a good idea to have a mechanic take a look at it for further diagnosis.
Good luck!
