Hi

I have a 1991 Mitsibishi Galant LS 2.0 FI SOHC Automatic Transmission and have been experiencing problems with the overdrive.  At first it kept kicking out of gear, a short time after, it stopped kicking into gear all together.  Could it be an end clutch, a control module or
overdrive band?

It's possible you have a problem with the TCU, but I'd suspect some other internal transmission problem.  You may be looking at a transmission rebuild or replacement.  Have a transmission shop inspect it for a better diagnosis and their opinion on how to fix it.
