Mitsubishi Repair: 1998 Eclipse GSX Auto Acceleration, Dash Lights, eclipse gsx, drive belts

Question
I recently was driving it around town, and found that between medium to hard acceleration that three of the dash lights would come on. The Brake, A/T Temp, and Battery. All three would come on at the same time but would turn right back off again after letting off to cruising speed.

There was also a squeeky belt coming from the engine compartment for the first 15 minutes or so of driving. But it went away after that.

Answer
Ryan,
Your alternator and/or alternaotor belt is shot.  If you haven't had your drive belts replaced in more than 30,000 miles, have them all replaced.  Also, have your alternator tested to see it it's still putting out enough power.  Most major auto parts (like AutoZone, Advanced Auto, PepBoys) can test your alternator for free.  Most alternators last about 7-10 years, so you may need a new one.

Also, if it's been near 60,000 miles since you've replaced your timiing belt, have that replaced as well.
Good luck!
