Mitsubishi Repair: Idle problem mitsu-diamonte 95, diamonte, injector cleaner

I just bought a 95 diamonte LS 3.0 DOHC. My problem is this .   On cold start in the morning the car idles perfect around 700-800 rpms. then when I drive it and the engine warms up it does one of the two things. Idles high around 2,000 rpms or will just Idle to low to stay running. I will still start and run but I have to manually hold down the peddle enough to keep it running.

 I have replaced plugs, wires, timing belt, battery,fuel filter,air filter,waterpump.

 It has to be something that would be temp. related. Any Ideas the engine is strong and runs good otherwise compresion test was good on all cylenders.... thanks

This could be a Idle Air Control unit problem..IAC controls your idle.. if it is faulty it will make idle surge like that..but also could be a GAS or SPARK problem...run some LUCAS injector cleaner from auto zone and assure that you gap your plugs according to owners manual. I dont believe I ever heard of idle being affected by temp. of the car??? If your overheating or have overheated.. thats a whole other story.
