Mitsubishi Repair: 1990 plymouth laser, plmouth, head gasket

Question
Hi, i know taht you may not have the expirtise im looking for but its worth a try. i havce a 1990 plmouth laser 2.0 turbo. the motor ran great when i brough tit home 6 months ago and it sat in my back yard. a cupple days ago i went out to move it and it would not idle below 1000 rpm if it did it would just die. if the engin runs for a little while the problem gets worse and more sparatic, like it will have the problem then it wont. i have had the head "leak down" tested and the results were better than i had expected. there is no problem with my head gasket. the catalitic converter is not pluged and the fuel injectors are working properly.  i was wondering if you have ever heard of a problem like this. please help. thanks Brandon

Answer
This could be alot of things Brandon..This kinda sounds like your miss firing, check all wires and spark plugs!! Also it could be a miss fire due to a fuel problem also?? Try running some fuel cleaner/injector cleaner! It also could be your Idle Air Controller unit also? just hard to say...any engine lights??  If so.. get the computer scanned,...you can buy the OBD1 reader device at auto zone that spits out codes that helps in diagnosing problems..

Good Luck!
