Motorcycle Repair: Brake light staying on, brake lever, master cylinder

I just recently noticed that the brake light on my 2002 Low Rider was staying on continually.  I just had the bike inspected a few weeks ago, so I know it was working at that time.  The only thing I have done to the bike since the inspection is replace the levers with chrome ones.  Any suggestions as to what may be wrong?

The brake lever was install inproperly. There is a brake lite switch in the right switch housing and the Master cylinder and brake lever need to be up tight againts the switch housing so that the brake lever is pushing the brake lite switch in so the lite gos out. Johnny
