Mitsubishi Repair: 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS died while going 70 mph, mitsubishi eclipse gs, mitsubishi eclipse

Why did my Eclipse die while I was driving down the freeway at 7o mph? The car just shut down, I checked the fuses and they were all good. When I tried to start it, it acted like a dead battery but its a new battery. All the lights were still working fine. The only thing was my car just wouldn't turn over. Why did this happen?

This sounds like an alternator problem... You might want to troubleshoot your ignition system also! This could be alot of things though...are you overheating?? If your having problems with the car I recommend you buy an OBD1 reader so you can pin point problems.
