Mitsubishi Repair: clutch wont disengage, performance clutch, clutch pedal

we have a 1991 eclipse, fwd, manual tranny. We changed from a fwd to an awd tranny in doing so we also changed the flywheel to an awd flywheel. we put in a exedy high performance clutch and down it will not disengage the clutch - we have changed the fork, ball, and throwout bearing in the tranny. we also changed the slave cylinder and have bled the clutch several times. we you step on the pedal there is no feeling to the clutch the slave cylinder moves freely but does not move enought to disengage the clutch. the car will not go into any gears at all. can you help?

Your clutch master clyinder may have a bad piston or spring.  I would recommend rebuilding or replacing your master cylinder.  You should also check your clutch pedal connection.  There is a semi-circle piece of metal connected to the clutch pedal rod.  That semi-circle piece fits into the master cylinder bracket notch and that pushes in the cylinder.  Often, that semi-circle piece wears enough that it prevents the master cylinder rod from fully getting pushed in.

Check those items and hopefully you'll find the cause.
