Mitsubishi Repair: Replacing Driving Belts, mitsubishi dealership, eclispe

Hi:

I went to the express autoparts.com site, gave the information: Mitsubishi Galatnt 1996, but the model listed is the 2.4 engine, not the 2.0 engine (model s). Do they have the same belts?
Is there any way to compare the original codes (MD303523 and MD310616) to the listed ones?

The only engine size I'm aware of that Mitsubishi put in their Galants in 1996 was the 2.4 L engine.  This is why you can only find auto parts sites that list belts for that size engine.  If your Galant was originally sold in a different country, that may account for the 2.0L engine you're seeing.  Also, if you bought that car used, it may have gone through and engine swap with a 2.0L engine from an Eclispe.  But double check your engine size.  If it's not the original engine that came with the car, then it may be difficult to find belts for.  You can also call or visit your local Mitsubishi dealership service/parts department and give them your VIN so they can verify your engine size.
