Mitsubishi Repair: Tranny wiring, power economy, change over switch

91 Eclipse 2.0 turbo gst auto.  On my tranny there is a green blue and black wires.  What do they hook up to?  could this cause my tranny to lose its memory?

Those wires may be the pulse generator cables, back-up light cables, or even the Power/Economy Change Over switch.  Those are the easiest to see, and there are many more.  But what retains the memory for your tranny is the transaxle control module.  This is located behind the radio, on the passanger kick panel.  If you suspect a problem with it, have it pulled and inspected for damage.
