Mitsubishi Repair: Cant get at oil filter, oil filter, radiator

1993 1.8L Expo LRV automatic

How in the world do I access the oil filter on this vehicle?  I've
changed oil on my cars for 20+ years and never seen one so
inaccessible.

I have never replaced an oil filter in the Expo LRV, but I believe the filter is located on the engine block, between the block and the radiator.  If you find it difficult to unscrew it without front of the car getting in the way, you may have luck slightly raising the engine itself to see if you can get more clearance.  Sorry I could be more help.
