Mitsubishi Repair: shift linkage on a 3000GT, mitsubishi 3000gt, shift linkage

Hello, my name is Amy and i am extrememly frusterated and running out of ideas. I have a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT and the shift linkage wasnt fully there so i coulnt shift into 2nd,4th, or Reverse, so my dad and i attempted to fix it, and it worked for a matter of hours. Do you know of any other car, or a place where i can get the Shift Linkage i need. i was looking around at an junkyard earlier and i am not sure what would fit. Please help

The Dodge Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000GT are the same car.  Most parts between the '91 and '92 models are the same, though there are many compatible parts between '91-'94 models.  And I believe your gearshift parts would match any of those years.  

If you cannot find the parts you need at the salvage yard, I would recommend contacting your local Mitsubishi dealership's part department and order the parts.  Be sure to have your VIN ready when you order parts because they will ask you for it.
