Mitsubishi Repair: Headlight issue, blown fuses, fuse box

Question
I am having a problem with my headlight on the passenger side.  I have replaced the connector that goes to the actual bulb because it had melted.  Before the headlight didnt work, neoither the low or high beam (hence the changing the bulb.  Now that it is all new with headlight and connector the hig beam doesnt work.  Is this a electrical problem that is not easily fixed, or could it just be that it is a loose connected wire on the other end?

Answer
Susan,
If the drivers side light is working properly (both high and low beam setting), swap the bulb from the drivers side to the passanger and see if the problem happens with the bulb you know is working.

If the bulb works fine on the drivers side, but not completely in the passanger side, there is definitely a problem in the circuit.  It's possible your high beam circuit is on a seperate relay and/or fusible link.  You should look in your fuse box and relay box under your hood, and see if you see any blown fuses.  It's not as easy to check a relay, so may want a mechanic to check that.
Good luck!
