Mitsubishi Repair: 97 Eclipse RS - Power Window, power window switch, waterproof film

Question
Power window on passenger works intermittently.  Not often and when it does go down many trys to get it to go back up. Plug is tight on power module in drivers door. Drivers window, power locks, window lock all work fine. Is there a method of testing the module? Is there anything to check inside the passenger

Answer
Gregg,
You can remove door trim and plastic waterproof film, and you can see the window motor and better access the power window switch.  You can test the motor by directly hooking up a 12 volt source to the terminals to see if the window moves up and down.  If you have a shop manual for the car, you can use a voltmeter to inspect the power window switch.  The shop manual will instruct you how to test these switches.
Good luck!
