Mitsubishi Repair: 95 diamanti, air intake system, diamanti

starts then shuts down. suspect fuel pump loses power.

That's not too much information to go on, but when your car shuts off on it's own, there are 3 areas that need to be checked:
- Fuel system
- Ignition system
- Air intake system

It's also possible you have a timing problem, or your car's computer may be malfunctioning.  Have those areas checked and I bet your problem will be in one of them.
