Mitsubishi Repair: WILL NOT START, motor breakdown, cold start

Question
I HAVE A '93 MITSU ECLIPSE 1.8 MANUAL, JUST PUT A NEW STARTER ON AND NOW THE CAR WILL NOT START AT ALL. THIS PARTICULAR CAR HAS A COLD START PROBLEM ALREADY, BUT I CAN USUALLY GET IT STARTED AFTER A FEW CRANKS, BUT NOW NOTHING. ANY SUGGESTIONS? VERY DESPERATE!!!!!!!

Answer
Lisa,
The starter should be checked that it's receiving enough power from the battery.  If you performed the install yourself, you should be able to check this.  If not, you can bring your car back the place that installed the starter and have them check over their work and test your battery.  If you have a friend available, you can ask them to help you roll the car so you can attempt to bump start it.  Here's a quick article on how to try it if you're not sure:

Bring your car back to the place that installed your starter and asked them to check it out.
Good luck!
