Mitsubishi Repair: No fifth gear., throwout bearing, 5th gear

1st,2nd,3rd,4th gears work fine, no problems shifting up or downshifting these gears,however, when I try to push it into 5th gear it feels like there is no gear there, it does not grind, growl or make any noise at all. It will not slide into 5th position.

Hi Emmett

You could have a possible wornout gear that needs replacing or the throwout bearing has gone bad which requires removing the transmission to get to that and replacing it and it is recommended to replace it everytime you replace the clutch.
