I need to replace the rear springs for sure, maybe front. What I need is the size and coil strength of the original springs and possiably sugestions or recomendations of what to replace with. Heavy duty

Answer
Jay,
The exact size and coil strength of the original springs are not specifications I'm able to obtain.  I do know that the manufacturer's part number for your original springs are: MB870353.  You can also bring your car to any service garage that sells replacement springs; like Monro Muffler/Brake, Midas, Sears, etc.  They can give you recommendations for heavy duty springs that they may have in stock.

But your springs may not be the problem.  Your problem may be your rear shocks.  The strength of the shocks determine the length of travel the springs can go.  If the shocks are blown, the springs will fully collapse.  The service centers can recommend heavy duty shocks to meet your needs better than I could.  Because your car is really not designed for heavy hauling, there will be a limit as to how large/strong of springs or shocks that you may use.  If you had a pick-up truck, there are many more options.

Stop in to one of those places for an estimate.  A ballpark estimate could be anywhere from $180 and up.
Good luck!
